Week 8 – Classmate Conversation

Hey everyone! Meet Moreen Meng.

This week I had the pleasure of meeting Moreen Meng. Moreen is from Sacramento, California but is originally from France in England. Since she was born in France, her first language was french and she now speaks English. She also mentioned that she could understand Cambodian but has difficulty speaking it. Moreen is a second year student here at Long Beach and is majoring in Child Development. Besides majoring in Child Development, Moreen is also interested in double majoring in Psychology. However, she is still looking into it and has not fully decided on it. In the future Moreen looks forward to working with kids and hopefully one day becoming a therapist. Other than focusing on her academics, Moreen likes living a very adventurous life. On her free time she loves going to the beach or going for a hike. She also enjoys just being at home watching Netflix. Overall, Moreen was a very interesting person to talk to and I hope that I get to meet more people that are as interesting as her.
